 What To Expect

PROGRAMS

 Consultation & Evaluation

  • Our process begins with a parent consultation where we will review your child’s educational and developmental history.
  • Your child will then undergo a screening which we use to gain information about your child’s strengths and challenges. 
  • Note that we DO NOT diagnose but we can give accurate observations based on what we see. If need be we can recommend for further evaluation by an educational psychologist.
  • The data collected from the evaluation and consultation is then used to establish an educational plan for the child which might either be full time or part time depending on what is agreed with the parents.

Fulltime Services

Lower Department Preparatory Class- Level 4
  • 8-12 learners per level
  • 5 days a week
  • 7.15 am – 1pm
  • Focus on literacy, numeracy and social sciences ( Inter-woven Curricula)
Upper Department Level 5-7
  • 8-12 learners per level
  • 5 days a week
  • 7.15 am -1pm
  • PSLE Curriculum
  • Focus on Literacy
  • Weekend clinics for exam class
Remedial Gap Year (Foundation class)

 

  • 2-12 learners
  • Daily Literacy and numeracy lessons
  • Aggressive and immediate intervention

 Part Time Programs

Reading Intervention

Structured, multi-sensory instruction is crucial for beginning readers and those who may have been diagnosed with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia. We employ the use of tested and proven research-based methods to teach reading. This is suitable for the child who struggles with reading, spelling, and comprehension; or the child who wants to broaden their understanding of language. 

  • Individualized/small group sessions (2/3)
  • 1 hr sessions
  • 8-week program
  • 3 sessions a week
  • Review for continuation after every 8 weeks
Academic Tutoring

 Intended to help students progress towards subject mastery and independence. Through this program we help your child catch up, get ahead or stay on track

 

  • Tutoring can be on-site or virtual
  • Subject covered: Primary-level- Math, English, Agriculture, Science, Social Studies, Cultural Studies, Setswana for Std 3-7
  • 4 sessions/week ( Mon- Thurs)
  • Individualized/small group
  • 1 hr sessions
