PROGRAMS
Parent Consultation & Screening Setup
– A consultation is scheduled to review your child’s educational background and learning needs.
– We discuss concerns, goals, and any prior learning challenges.
Student Screening
– Your child undergoes a screening assessment to help us understand their strengths and challenges.
– Note: We do not diagnose, but we provide accurate observations that can help guide next steps.
– If needed, we may recommend further evaluation by an educational psychologist or specialist.
Educational Plan & Placement
– Data from the consultation and screening is used to determine the best placement for your child.
– Based on our findings, we establish an individualized education plan, whether for full-time enrollment or a part-time intervention program.
Screening vs. Assessment: What’s the Difference?
Screening: A brief process to identify possible learning difficulties and determine if further evaluation is needed.
Assessment: A detailed, formal evaluation conducted by a professional (e.g., educational psychologist) to diagnose specific learning challenges.
